Dear Meadowbrook Polo Players and Friends ,
Polo season is here. Weather has improved and we are playing polo!!!!!
This Sunday June 24 the Old Westbury College Foundation annual Polo match and Lawn Party will be held at the Whitney Lane Fields, featuring a fast paced game between two 8 goal teams, Range Rover and La Magnolia. Tickets are $95.00 per person. Children under 12 admitted free. For details call 516.876.3207
Our season opener tournament the 8 goal Al Bianco memorial is on the way. Please check our Polo for Today button on our website for the latest updates on game times and fields.
Saturday Asados under the tent have been great fun for all partcipants, members and friends. So come out and watch our 11:00 AM game or practice on Saturdays, enjoy the sun and a great meal under the tent after Polo.
Please refer to our schedule below for exact dates on Tournaments and Special Events. We will also host continuous pro pools, coaching leagues, exhibitions, as well as our junior program and clinics for those who prefer lower goal polo and instruction.
Polo Clinics for beginners will be offered twice a month starting June through the end of the season. We will also have guest Instructors at our clinics throughout the summer from some of the best Polo schools in Argentina and the USA, so if you or a friend want to try this wonderful sport be sure to call as and sign up for our next clinic.
Next Saturday June 30th and Sunday July 1st, we will be hosting " El Venado Polo Clinic at Meadowbrook". Federico Cendoya, owner of "El Venado Polo" , a world re known polo School in Argentina that has been teaching polo to people from all over the world for more that 20 years, will be holding a 2 day clinic with us. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity to learn from one of the great teachers in polo please email us at Meadowbrookpoloclub@gmail.com or call us at (516) 484 0343 for details.
We are only 25 miles from downtown NYC, so our half-membership is ideal for those who play elsewhere on weekends - but want more polo during the week! Most important of all, is a friendly, safe, polite, low-key environment, where you can play polo at whatever level of skill, speed and expense is most comfortable for you and is fun for everyone involved. Many thanks to our hard-working staff, our terrific members and our numerous friends for making it happen.
